Walking from the Port
From gangway to harbour cafés — Zakynthos Town rarely needs a shuttle for the centre itself.
Zakynthos Town is one of the Ionian’s more walkable cruise calls for the harbour and civic centre. This short guide covers the walk from passenger access to the promenade and Solomos Square.
Exit toward the harbour and town — Ionian water and waterfront buildings usually orient you within minutes.
Allow roughly 10–25 minutes to Solomos Square in normal conditions; promenade cafés may be closer depending on berth or tender landing.
Pavements are generally manageable; summer heat and crowds matter more than distance.
